Competition Information
*
All girls need to arrive to competition with their hair and makeup completely done, dressed in team warmups and earrings, with their team backpack.
Makeup instructions are as follows:
False Eyelashes
1.) Measure false lashes to your dancers eye, cut the outer edge of the lash band off if necessary.
2.) Coat the false eyelash band in a thin and even layer of eyelash glue.
*Wait about 30 seconds before applying lashes to allow the glue to get tacky. When the glue is tacky, the lashes will be easier to adhere to eyelid.
3.) Apply lashes to your dancers lash line.
*Try your best to get the false lashes as close to the dancers natural lash line as possible. This will ensure the look is as natural as possible. (A trick to do so is to take a pair of tweezers and pinch the false lashes together with the dancers real lashes. It may be scary to the dancer because the tweezers would be so close to their eye, but it can really help pull them into the lash line.)
4.) Apply a coat of mascara to the lashes to blend the natural lashes to the false lashes.

Lips
1.) Apply first layer of LipSense (red color) to dancers lips.
*Wait at least 30 seconds before next coat to allow first coat to completely dry.
2.) Apply second coat.
*Wait at least 30 seconds before next coat to allow second coat to completely dry.
3.) Apply third coat of LipSense red color.
*Wait at least 30 seconds before next step to allow third coat to completely dry.
3.) Apply LipSense gloss on top of third coat.
*It is recommended to apply the LipSense in a "sweeping" motion, and in the same direction each time it is applied to ensure an even application.
*Try your very best to apply the LipSense as precise as possible.
**Removal of LipSense:
1.) Apply one layer of remover to lips, let sit for one minute, then wipe lips with kleenex/paper towel/etc.
2.) Repeat until product is completely removed.
Hair instructions are as follows:
1.) Begin with hair down, parted directly down the middle.
2.) Gather all hair in a low pony tail
3.) Ensure the low ponytail is smoothed out just at the nape of neck.
4.) Place the hairagami around the low ponytail, slide it down the hair, then begin to roll up.
5.) Snap the hairagami and begin to work the hair around it if necessary.
*It is recomended to have dancer tilt her head forward while doing this step.
*5.) Pom bow will be attached centered, directly above the dancers left side bun.
**It is very important that you ensure the bun is secured onto the head with bobby pins, and all wispy hairs are sprayed down with hairspray or gel.
**Linked below is a tutorial on how to create the low hair bun. Please note instead of using the bun builder as shown in the video, we will be using the hairagami.
